Seven members of the 2020/2021 Andrews Mustangs tennis team were recently recognized during ‘Senior Night’ by head Coach Scott Swyden (far right). Seniors honored were (left to right) Mia Martinez, Shyanne Durham, Kaitlin Argabright, Julio Cortes, Chris Curry, Justin Nguyen and Jario Ontiveros. The seven seniors were the major core in the AHS tennis success with a handful of district champions and region participants.

An Andrews man, who last August threw a fiery bottle of gasoline at a pickup that earlier had passed his SUV on NW Ave. G, recently received sentencing in a 109th District Court hearing.

For the past five months, the hospital and health department have been on a mission—get as many shots in the arms of county residents as possible. The effort has paid off through virus numbers substantially decreasing.
