An Andrews man who was arrested last May after he led police on vehicle and foot pursuits, and later attempted to take an officer’s weapon while resisting arrest, was convicted and sentenced during a recent hearing in 109th District Court.
Hospital board members learned Thursday the added rooms with the memory care unit project made possible through a recent grant won’t delay construction much, according to Permian Regional Medical Center CEO Donny Booth.
The Andrews High School Choirs competed at their UIL Concert and Sightreading Contest at Legacy High School on April 12, 2022. The Chorale Men (Non-Varsity Tenor-Bass Choir) earned a Division 2 (Excellent) Rating in Concert and a Division 2 (Excellent) Rating in Sightreading. The Chorale Women (Non-Varsity Treble Choir), A Cappella Women (Varsity Treble Choir), A Cappella Men (Varsity Tenor-Bass Choir), and A Cappella (Varsity Mixed Choir) received a Sweepstakes. A Sweepstakes is awarded when the choir earns a Division 1 (Superior rating) in both Concert and Sightreading.
