An elderly Hobbs, New Mexico woman was killed after being ejected from a Ford Expedition involved in a hit-and-run crash east of Andrews on the afternoon of Nov. 9, according to Texas Department of Public Safety troopers.
An Andrews man who discharged a firearm in a highway intersection during rush hour and during an altercation last summer was sentenced to prison during an October hearing in 109th District Court, according to a criminal disposition report from the district clerk’s office.
