The Andrews County Health Department is one of only three rural health departments in Texas with a Wastewater Surveillance operation that detects the presence of a number of viruses—or pathogens—in wastewater.
A Lamesa man who was part of an oilfield theft in Andrews County in 2020 received a prison sentence during a hearing last month in 109th District Court, according to a criminal disposition report from the district clerk’s office.
