Due to the economic climate, Andrews Food Pantry donations in recent months began to dry up.

But in the last several weeks a couple of young entrepreneurs with hearts of gold have stepped up to the plate.

It’s all about the lemonade stands!

Most recently, the Food Pantry received a whopping $500 check from a father/son who appeared at this week’s distribution to present the donation, according to board president Austin Chaney.

Those at the Food Pantry didn’t see it coming.

But the fund-raising effort touched them, Chaney said.
