The commissioners court’s approval Tuesday of advertising a part-time LVN position was good news to the health department.
The position is needed largely due to the health department’s continued virus-related efforts, which at the present perhaps seems gargantuan with a major surge over the past two weeks.
Those duties are ongoing while the health department remains as the only one in the area still providing its regular services as well, according to Andrews County Health Department Director Gordon Mattimoe.
