Lee Niblett of Andrews, Texas, passed away on December 23, 2021, in Fort Worth, Texas. Born on October 10, 1927, in Ackerly, Texas to Thomas Alvin and Cora Lee Niblett, he will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, uncle, brother and friend, as well as a dancer extraordinaire. Lee was 100% Texan—he was graduated from Martin High School in Martin, Texas, worked for Phillips Petroleum for more than 30 years, and grew cotton and raised cattle on his farm in Andrews, Texas. As a boy, he loved his horse Sugarfoot so much that he even tried to take her into the classroom with him. His favorite past time was country western dancing and for years, he and his wife Patricia Hodges Niblett two-stepped across the state. For over 38 years, Lee served as District Director and Chairman of the Board for the Andrews Soil and Water Conservation District. He served in the Army Air Force during World War II.
