James (Jim) Papstein

Benny Lloyd, age 84, of Waxahachie, passed away on November 30th, 2021. He was born just outside of Ira, Texas, on his grandpa’s farm. Parents Ben Lloyd and Audie Crabtree welcomed Benny on January 7th, 1937. Benny graduated Andrews High School where he met his wife and high school sweetheart Carolyn. The two married June 2, 1956 in Andrews, Texas. They enjoyed 57 years of marriage before she passed away in 2013.

Mary Ellen Ham, age 78, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Hendrick Medical Center North.

Linda Melton Brown passed from this life into the next in the afternoon hours of Thursday, November 11, 2021, at 67 years young. Born on February 19, 1954, she was the oldest child of George E. Melton and Clara M. Melton, both of whom preceded her in death. Linda married Rodney Brown in Las Cruces, New Mexico, and they celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary this year. One daughter was born of Linda and Rodney’s marriage, Rylei Cole Brown.
