Phyllis Janet Jackson passed away on October 8, 2020. Born to Bernard and Lenora Nash on July 2, 1931 in Seagraves, Texas, she was proceeded in death by both parents and her husband of 60 years Leon Jackson. After graduating from Texas Tech University, Janet started her career as a teacher in Andrews, first as a fourth-grade teacher, and then finally teaching typing and business administration at Andrews High School. Together with her husband Leon, the couple contributed over sixty years of service to the Andrews schools. They were dedicated members of Means Memorial Methodist Church. Janet is survived by James and Karen Jackson of Lakeway, Texas and Monte and Remee Jackson of Richmond, Virginia. She is also survived by three brothers and sisters, three grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
