Andrews Middle School’s Seventh-Grade “A” girl’s basketball team closed out its home schedule in style with a 4514 victory against Pecos on Monday. Desireah Lujan scored 19 points to lead the Lady Mustangs, with Aubree Luna adding eight points and Yareli Bejarano six in the victory. Andrews started quickly and never looked back, opening a 12-4 lead at the end of the first quarter. Aliyah Sanchez and Karsyn Nickel each scored four points for the Lady Mustangs, with Alyvia Hernandez and Annali Trevino both finishing with two points. Andrews closes its season on the road against Fort Stockton on Feb. 5.
