GRAPEVINE The Andrews boys and girls swim teams combined for 931 points to take home the title at the 2023 TISCA 4A North Zone state preview meet Friday and Saturday in Grapevine.
Black & Gold, of Andrews, are a group of boys who were nominated to play at the 11U American Youth Football Nationals in Naples, Florida along with other boys across the Permian Basin. The event began December 3rd and will run through the 8th.
It wasn’t the result the Andrews’ boy’s basketball team was hoping for, but the Mustangs learned quite a bit about themselves during a four-game weekend at the annual Denver City Tournament.
Andrews’ sophomore running back JaeSean DeBouse was selected as the District 2-4A Division Newcomer of the Year on the recently released All-District 2-4A Division I team.
