With losses in their first three district basketball games, the Andrews Lady Mustangs were in trouble going into their home league game with Pecos here Tuesday night.
On the wrong side of 10 of their last 11 games, the Andrews Mustangs were in ‘doctor’s orders’ a win to not only keep the heartbeat going but for medicine between the ears.
On January 12th through the 14th, the Mustang cheer squads competed in the UIL State Spirit Championship (4A Division 1), where they placed 12th out of 76 teams.
The Andrews Lady Mustangs 8th ‘A’ basketball team grabbed a season high 55 rebounds and had 18 steals in their first game back from the break to get an easy 39-10 home win over Monahans.
