After dropping a hotly-contested physical game to Borger High School to open play in their own Gym Bice Classic Thursday night, the Andrews Mustangs needed to respond in a positive way.
A first round overtime loss to Shallowater at the Seminole Classic dropped the Andrews Lady Mustangs 7th ‘A’ team to the bottom bracket, where they won the next two games to place third.
The ending didn’t turn out how they wanted, but if the game itself is a ladder of some kind – the Andrews Mustangs basketball program is on its way up!
