Adriel Ian Bueno

Adriel Ian Bueno, age 10, of Andrews, passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, after losing his long battle with leukemia.

Adriel was born to Eddie and Lola Bueno on December 23, 2013. He was in the fourth grade at Underwood Elementary.

Adriel was a son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend. Although his time was cut short, he knew how to have a good time. Although handed a tough hand, he maintained a positive attitude and touched so many with his infectious smile. He was a light to anyone he encountered, and you couldn’t help but love him.

He loved to sing and dance. He was a sneakerhead. Anytime you saw him, you would see him sporting a basketball jersey and sweet kicks - he loved both. He was a Dallas Mavericks fan and loved the Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed watching WrestleMania with his dad and brothers. Before his sickness, he was and will always be a Slugger for life. He loved his family.

Above all, he loved the Lord. He always knew where he was going.

Adriel is survived by his mom and dad, who never gave up in this fight, his little brothers, Mateo and Nico, his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and many cousins.

Friends and family gathered to celebrate his life at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at First Baptist Church in Andrews with pastor Isai Garcia officiating. A visitation was held on Saturday, February 24, 2024, from 9 AM – 8 PM at McNett Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the personal care of McNett Funeral Home.
