Albert Molina Garcia

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Albert Molina Garcia, who departed this life peacefully on December 19, 2024, at the age of 79.

Born on October 29, 1945, in Colorado City, Texas, Albert was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, who called Monahans, Texas, his home.

Albert, also known for his love of the great outdoors, spent countless joyful hours camping, hunting, and tending to his lawn, which he took great pride in. An animal lover, he had a soft spot for pets and was known to enjoy swimming whenever he could escape to the nearest pool or lake. His love for life was infectious, whether he was cheering on his favorite football team or rolling the dice at the craps table in lively casinos, particularly in Las Vegas, where the thrill of the game captivated him.

A proud veteran, Albert served our country as a Sergeant in the United States Army from 1966 to 1969. His dedication and bravery during the Vietnam War earned him the Bronze Star for meritorious achievement in ground operations against hostile forces. Albert was an excellent provider, working for Exxon in Midland and Andrews Texas as an electrical engineer for many years, a position that allowed him to contribute meaningfully to his family.

Albert (Tin) is preceded in death by his parents, Domingo and Manuela Garcia; daughter, Annette Garcia; brothers, Robert Garcia, Ramon Garcia, Joe Oyerbides; and sister, Carmen Sanchez.
