Armando Acosta Bustamante

Armando Acosta Bustamante, 75, of Presidio, Texas passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020 in Houston, Texas.

The family will hold a private service at 10:00 AM Friday, December 18, 2020 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Pastor Joseph Ogbonna officiating. Burial will be held at a later date.

Armando was born on May 4, 1945 in El Mulato, Chihuahua, Mexico to Jesus Bustamante and Ofelia Acosta. He married Maria Teresa Carrasco on August 8, 1972 in Ojinaga, Mexico. He was very respected and loved by everyone. He was a hard worker and enjoyed his years in the oil field and ranching.

Armando was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Maria Elia Gomez.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Maria Carrasco Bustamante of Presidio, 2 sons, Armando Bustamante of Chihuahua, Mexico, Alberto Bustamante and wife Andreana Yniguez of Odessa, Texas, and another young man, Luis Ochoa “Treve” whom he considered a son. 3 sisters, Eulalia Dominguez and husband Roberto of El Paso, Texas, Luzmila Garcia and husband Porfirio of Midland, Texas, Rosario Olivas and husband Samuel, 5 brothers Edwardo Bustamante and wife Micaela, Jose Bustamante and wife Maria, Petronilo Bustamante and wife Zulema, Natalio and wife Anita and Alfredo Bustamante and wife Amelia all of Andrews, Texas, 2 grandchildren Andres Armando Bustamante, and Abraham Yniguez and numerous nieces and nephews.
