Barbara Taylor Pool, 79, of Andrews passed away on Monday, June 15, 2020 in Andrews.
Family and friends gathered to celebrate her life at 10 AM Thursday, June 18, 2020 at the Andrews North Cemetery for a Graveside service with Pastor Brant O’Connor officiating. Barbara Taylor Pool was born on October 5, 1940 to Everett and Lillian Taylor in Boerne, Texas. She married Perry Bob Pool on September 1, 1957. Barbara was the Co-owner of Pool’s Welding Service with her husband. She had many hobbies that she loved which included bowling, playing skipbo, bingo, and dominoes, going to the casino, and going to the city lake to watch her grandchildren and great grandchildren fish. Barbara would even fish with them. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were a big part of her life. She loved watching them play softball, baseball, volleyball, soccer and also enjoyed the stock shows. She loved working in her yard when she was able to. Barbara loved baseball season and her Texas Rangers. She said she would never give up on them! Barbara had a rescue dog named Bambi and would take her everywhere she could. When she was sick, and in the hospital, she worried constantly about Bambi, but had peace of mind knowing she was with Terry. Barbara loved her Lord and Savior. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Perry Bob Pool, her parents, E.E and Lil Taylor, brother Joe Taylor, sister Marlene Follis and a son, Gregory Bob Pool.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Debbie Staggs and husband Terry of Andrews, Texas, 3 sons, Terry Pool and wife Patricia of Splendora, Texas, Darren Pool and wife Tina of Andrews, Texas, and Perry Pool and wife Deidre of Andrews, Texas, 1 brother Michael O’brien Taylor of Big Spring, Texas, 9 grandchildren Dusty Coats and wife Charla, Christy Gross and husband Mark, Courtney Moore and husband Cody, Cami Baker and husband Zach, Carly (Pool) Shane, Cole Pool, Ryann Phillips and husband Justin, Carder Pool, and Erynn Pool, 12 great-grandchildren Cutter, Tripper, and Riggen Gross, Beckett Phillips, Cash and Canyon Coats, Dawson and Levi Baker, Cena and Charli Alex Moore, Caysen and Mason Wilson.
