Christina Marie Orona

Christina Marie Orona, 59, of Andrews passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2020 in Odessa, Texas.

Christina was born on June 21, 1961 in Greeley, Colorado. She graduated from Andrews High School in 1978 and received her degree as a Registered Nurse from Odessa College. She married Robert Orona on December 18, 1993. Christina worked for the Andrews County Health Department for 10 years and Permian Regional Medical Center for 8 years. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Christina accepted Christ as her Savior in her early 20’s. Shopping, reading, playing games and traveling were some of her favorite things. Christina was preceded in death by her mother, Carmen Lopez, sisters, Stella Lopez, Dorothy Jaquez, Sally Jaquez, Virginia Escarcega and a brother, Freddy Lopez.

She is survived by her husband Robert Orona of Andrews, Texas, son, Nicolas Orona of Andrews, Texas, brothers, Andrew Lopez of Lubbock, Texas, Joseph Lopez of Greeley, Colorado and Steve Lopez of Kermit, Texas, niece, Angie Jaquez, nephew, Trey Jaquez and wife Amber, brother-in-law, Jr. Jaquez, parents-in-law, Pablo and Angelita Carrasco, brother-in-law Arturo and wife Cindy, sister-in-laws, Dianne O. Flores Belinda Bryant Orona, 2 great nephews, Cuatro and Alex.
