Clifford Allen Lightfoot

Clifford Allen Lightfoot, age 77, of Andrews, TX. passed away August 29, 2022, in Midland, TX.

Family and friends gathered to celebrate his life at 2:00 PM Friday, September 2, 2022, at Second Baptist Church in Andrews, Texas with Jerry Green and Chad Clark officiating. He was laid to rest at the Andrews County North Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Nathan Valles, Bryson Murry, Brock Murry, Britton Murry, Jonathan Lightfoot (Honorary Pallbearer), Trek Lightfoot, Caden Lightfoot and Zack Kunkel. Visitation was held Thursday, September 1, 2022, from 5PM8PM at McNett Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the care of McNett Funeral Home.

Cliff was born June 4, 1945, in Crane, Texas to Crystal Keith Lightfoot and Mable “Dowdy” Lightfoot. He married Dannye Musgrove on February 14, 1969, in Odessa, TX. and they spent 53 amazing years together. Cliff, known to his grandchildren as “The Popster” or “Papa” was a man of faith, and a true family man. He loved Jesus, family, the lake, the Dallas Cowboys, and Fox News. Cliff enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren, playing shuffleboard, and eating homemade ice cream. He was a collector of guns, and knives, and a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He had a kind heart and never met a stranger. Cliff was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, and friend and will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his wife: Dannye Lightfoot of Andrews, TX.; son: Brent Lightfoot and wife Trisha of Midland, TX.; daughters: Crysten Hopkins and husband Skip of Midland, TX.; Amanda Wenger and husband Justin of Midland, TX.; and Mauri Hopper and husband Jason of San Angelo, TX.; 10 grandchildren: Sara Morales, Nathan Valles, Bryson Murry, Brock Murry, Britton Murry, Taylor Hopkins, Jonathan Lightfoot, Trek Lightfoot, Caden Lightfoot, and Megan Lightfoot; 11 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Chris and Mable Lightfoot; daughter: Stephanie Lightfoot; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters.
