Colleen Kay Martin

Colleen Kay Martin, 71, of Andrews went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 5, 2020 in Irving, Texas.

Colleen was born to Viola Alice Heging and Homer Wayne Thornton on December 13, 1948 in Clay Center, Kansas. After graduating from High School she attended San Angelo State University. She married her husband and best friend, Charles Martin on July 13, 1989 in Granbury, Texas. Charles preceded her in death on September 16, 2019. Colleen found joy in sewing, fishing and riding motocycles. She loved taking on “Do It Yourself” projects and getting them finished. Her family remembers her as a very happy person, always smiling and laughing. She never met a stranger! She will greatly missed by her family and friends. Colleen was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

She is survived by her daughter, Shalina Timmons of Andrews, Texas, son, Larry Timmons and wife Barbara of Midland, Texas, grandchildren, Garrett Timmons, Nolan Timmons, Cody Timmons, Cassie Cornejo and husband Jamie and 6 great-grandchildren.
