Dan Galloway, 74, of Andrews passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 in Andrews.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life at 2:00 PM Monday, April 29, 2019 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel in Andrews. Interment will follow in the Andrews Old Cemetery. Dan was born on March 16, 1945 in Andrews, Texas to Jesse Noel Galloway and Abzilla Belle Howard Galloway. He graduated from Andrews High School in 1962 and attended Hardin Simmons University for 4 years. He had worked for Amoco for 15 years in Andrews. He had lived in Crane for 5 years and worked for The University of Texas Lands. He moved back to Andrews, where he owned and operated Galloway Construction for many years and was also a consultant in the oil and gas industry. He was married to Rae Peterson Galloway. He enjoyed the Dallas Cowboys at times, farming and tractors, and especially John Deere. He preached the Kingdom of God all those years and was a mighty man of God. He loved unconditionally and his faith and family were the most important things to him. He was an Apostle at Kingdom’s Gate Apostolic Center in Andrews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Cheryl Mays Galloway, daughter, Jenifer Lyn Bice, and sister, and Ellen Rankin.
Dan is survived by his wife, Rae Galloway of Andrews, 1 son, Jeremy Galloway and wife, Andrea, of Andrews, granddaughter, Chloe Grace Bice of Midland, brother in law, Forrest Rankin of Odessa, brother and sister in laws, David and Cathy Burgen of Andrews and John and Dianne Mays of Franklin, Tennessee, son in law, Frank Bice and wife, Kim, of Midland, and several nephews and nieces.
