Elias I. Emiliano

Elias I. Emiliano, 68, of Andrews went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 in Odessa, Texas.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life at 10:00 AM Saturday, June 26, 2021 at La Nueva Jerusalem Church with Rev. Isai Garcia officiating. Interment will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery. Visitation will be 3:00-9:00 PM Friday at the church with a Prayer Service from 6:00-8:00 PM. Arrangements are under the personal care of McNett Funeral Home.

Elias was born on April 15, 1953 in Rio Bravo, Mexico to Agapito Emiliano and Guadalupe Perez. He married Bertha Soto on August 18, 1973. He attended from Brownfield High School and was a member of the Filadelphia Assembly of God. Elias never met a stranger; he was a friend to everyone and a father figure to many. He spent many years coaching kids and taking the youth at church to camps, conventions and to work at the orphanages they sponsored. His grandkids called him Popper and was always at their sporting and extracurricular events. Since his retirement 2 years ago, he has spent time traveling with his wife Becky and enjoying his free time. Elias had a great sense of humor and was truly an extraordinary man! He will be missed by all! He was preceded in death by his parents.

Elias is survived by his wife of 47 years Becky Emiliano of Andrews, Texas, children, Xavier Emiliano and wife Sandra and their children, Athali, Xander and Lexi of Andrews, Texas, Efraim Emiliano and wife Lenny and their children, Eden and Camille of Andrews, Texas, Elias Emiliano Jr. and wife Daniella and their children, Alexa, Zamantha and Thiago of Panama, Panama and Rolando Emiliano and wife Hieu and their children Kai and Nya (on the way) of Mansfield, Texas, siblings, Samuel Emiliano and wife Grace, Anita Trevino and husband Joe, Petra Contreras and husband Eddie, Teresa Alavez and husband Fidel, Pedro Emiliano and wife Socorro, Jacob Emiliano and wife Hortencia and Naomi Sanchez and husband Fidel.
