Elias Ivan Montiel, age 27, of Andrews, Texas passed away Sunday, October 2, 2022, in Andrews, Texas.

Friends and Family will gather for a Mass of Christian Burial 11AM, Friday, October 7, 2022, at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Plainview Texas, with Father Bill Anton officiating, followed by the burial at the Plainview Cemetery. A visitation will be held 5PM-7PM, Thursday, October 6, 2022, at The McNett Funeral Home in Andrews Texas, followed by a Rosary from 7PM9PM. Arrangements are under the care of McNett Funeral Home.

Elias was born July 28, 1995, in Plainview, Texas to Victor Montiel and Ivone Arteaga. He was always known to be very happy and enjoyed being with his friends and his family. Elias had a big heart and was very loving. He enjoyed going cruising, off roading and going to concerts. Elias was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend and will be dearly missed.

Elias is survived by his parents: Victor Montiel and Ivone Arteaga of Andrews, Texas; grandmother: Pascuala Godina of Tijuana, Mexico; brothers: Alex Montiel and wife Isabel of Plainview, Texas; and Victor Montiel and wife Tiffaney of Andrews, Texas; and nephews: Julian Montiel; and Mateo Montiel.
