Erik Reyes “El Triste” Vazquez, 35, of Andrews passed away Saturday, February 15, 2020 in Andrews.

Friends and family will gather to celebrate his life at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Ogbonna officiating. Interment will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home. A Rosary service will be held at 7:00 PM Friday at McNett Funeral Home. El Triste was born on June 27, 1984 in Ventura, California to Jose and Lidia Vazquez Reyes. He loved to spend time with friends and family and having BBQ’s. He enjoyed horses, roosters and singing was a great pastime he enjoyed as well. He was preceded in death by a grandparent Nieves Vazquez.

He is survived by his parents, Jose and Lidia Vazquez of Andrews, brothers, Cesar Vazquez, Oscar Vazquez, Christian Vazquez, Irvin Vazquez all of Andrews, grandparents Asuncion Vazquez of Andrews, Mapurilio Reyes and Consuelo Reyes of Andrews.
