Felix Lujan Leyva
Felix Lujan Leyva, 87, of Andrews TX passed away on January 19, 2022, in Odessa, Texas.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life at 10:00am Monday, January 24, 2022, at La Nueva Jerusalem Church Andrews, Texas. Burial will follow at the Andrews West Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Fernando Guevara Jr. Cesar A. Madrid, Adrian L. Madrid, Fabian L. Escajeda, Aaron Leyva, Jazlyn L. Lopez, Alexza V. Madrid, and Lizaimee Guevara. Visitation Will be Saturday from 6-9pm and Sunday from 1-9pm at the McNett Funeral Chapel. A prayer service will be held Sunday from 7-9 in the Mcnett Funeral Home Chapel.
Felix was born November 20, 1934 in El Pueblito, Mexico, to Tomas Leyva and Eufracia “Lujan” Leyva. He Married Maria Leyva and they have spent over 50 years together. Felix loved to do yard work and just always stay active. He enjoyed watching Boxing and Baseball. He loved to listen to music and to sing. Felix loved to spend time with his family especially his grandkids, great grandkids, and great-great grandkids. When he was younger and lived in Mexico, he was a barber, after he retired from the oil field, he enjoyed giving his friends haircuts. He was a hardworking family man and will be missed dearly.
Felix is survived by his Wife, Maria Leyva of Andrews, Tx, Children, Fernando Guevara and wife Lizbeth of Andrews, TX., Maribel Madrid and Husband Cesar of Andrews, Texas, Norma Leyva of Andrews, Texas, Laura Millan and husband Tommy of Andrews, Texas, Cynthia Leyva of Andrews, Texas, Cristina Leyva and husband Armando of Phoenix, Arizona, Alejandro Leyva of Chihuahua, Mexico, Adalia Guterriz of Chihuahua, Mexico, and Rosa Isela Leyva of Chihuahua, Mexico. Brothers, Vicente Leyva and wife Rosi, and Agustine Leyva and wife Elda both of Odessa, Texas. 32 Grandchildren, 31 Great-Grandchildren, and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Felix is preceded in death by his parents: Tomas and Eufracia Leyva, children: Luis Leyva, Rosa Maria Leyva, and Felix Leyva Jr. Grandchild: Edward Guevara, and Great Grandchild Ezra Fernandez.
