Isaac R. Aranda Jr.

Isaac R. Aranda Jr. 59 of Andrews passed away on October 24th, 2020 in Presidio, Texas.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life at 10 AM Thursday, October 29th, 2020 at La Nueva Jerusalem Church in Andrews with Pastor Isai Garcia, officiating. Interment will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3:00 – 9:00 PM at McNett Funeral Home Chapel and Wednesday from 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM at La Nueva Jerusalem Church. Isaac was born on November 24th, 1960 in Ojinaga, Chihuahua to Isac Aranda & Maria Palomo. He met the love of his life Socorro Carrasco on October 30, 1975 and married her on April 17, 1982. Together they have 3 sons, 5 grandchildren, & 3 great grandchildren. Isaac was an admirable man that devoted his life to God & his beautiful family. He served more than half of his life at La Nueva Jerusalem church & also worked as a commercial truck driver. He enjoyed taking his love shopping & mini road trips to Bryan’s steakhouse, getting stuck outside with the grandkids, & sneaking in sweets & naps in between. He had the best sense of humor, especially when it came to picking on his boys. He was a role model that everyone admired because of his strong faith & character.

He is survived by his wife, Socorro Aranda, three sons, Jesus Aranda and wife Brianna, Issac Aranda and wife April, Adriel Aranda and wife Arali; grandchildren, Jasmine, Austin, Aryah, Aevryn, and Misael, great grandchildren Jozlyn, Aubri, and Lorelai; his mother Maria Palomo; 6 sisters, Anita Bustamante, Vicki Loredo, Neri Reynosa, Clara Sierra, Corina Aranda, and Noemi Leyva; and two brothers Manuel Aranda and Dario Aranda.

He is preceded in death by his father Isac Aranda and sister Tirza Carrasco.
