Ismael Muniz

Ismael Muniz, 70 of Andrews died in Andrews on August 22, 2021.

Was born on October 16, 1950, in Candelaria, Texas, to Antonio and Enedina Muniz.

He will forever live in our hearts, he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

He was a brave man, loved by many. He especially loved his family and all his grandchildren.

Additionally, he was a Dallas Cowboy fan, loved to go fishing in his spare time, watched John Wayne movies, black and white western movies and loved to listen to George Jones music. He watched praise and worship and listen to the preachings of Pastor Joel Osteen on television.

Preceded in death are his parents Antonio and Enedina Muniz, brothers, Manuel Muniz, and Marcos Muniz. Sister, Amy Ocon and Grandson, Jorge Antonio Casarez.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory to wife, Alicia Muniz, son Ismael Muniz Jr., Daughters, Monica Alaniz husband (Robert), Claudia Guzman husband (Jesse), Abigail Muniz, Ervenia Soto husband (Jose Benjamin) and Nina Bustamante husband (Alex).

Siblings, Elfida, Dora, Virginia, Juanita, Nicolas, Samuel, Antonio Jr., Benjamin, Octavio, and Joel.

16 Great Grand children and 2 Greatgreat grand children.

Honorary pallbearers are grandsons, Zach Alaniz, Jesse Salinas, Alejandro Bustamante, Aaron Guzman, Sergio Ismael Franco, Benjamin Soto Jr., Kayden Garza, Joaquin Arellano.

A celebration of life with the body present will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday 25, 2021. Officiating the funeral service are Pastors; Ricardo Jimenez, Ismael Jimenez, and Nicolas Muniz, at McNett Funeral Home Chapel with a viewing at 1:00 PM- 9:00 PM on Tuesday 24, 2021. Prayer service on Tuesday 7:00 PM at McNett Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers please
