James “Jimbo” H. McKissick

James “Jimbo” H. McKissick, 67, of Andrews, TX went home to our Lord on September 17, 2021. Services will be held at Means Memorial Methodist Church, 201 NE Ave B, Andrews, TX at 2:00PM on October 9, 2021. Reception to follow at Andrews Country Club, 930 Golf Course Rd, Andrews, TX.

Jimbo was born February 14, 1954 in Andrews, TX to Bill Irvin and Willie Jo McKissick. He was a drilling consultant for many companies over the years, including EXXON and Kerr McGee. Jimbo had a personality unlike any other. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, a good game of golf, and dancing the night away. His grandkids were his pride and joy.

Jimbo is preceded in death by his parents Bill and Willie Jo.

Jimbo is survived by his daughter Kori and husband Shannon Burney, son Brady and wife Maria McKissick, daughter Hollie McKissick; his best friend ”Mamaw” Loretta McKissick Elliott; his beloved grandchildren Jonathan McKissick, Alee Sutherland, Kaylee Jo McKissick, Jase McKissick, Bryson Long, Tatum Long, and Allie and husband Stetson Abney; brother Joe McKissick and sister Jan Hill; nephew Ross and wife Rosie Brown, nephew Ken McKissick, and niece Michelle and husband Chris Hanson.
