Jefferson Rice Doughten

Jefferson Rice Dough-ten was born June 11, 1942, to James Doyle and Martha Mahota Dough-ten in Hollis, Oklahoma. He passed away on January 15, 2019 at 11:45 pm. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Wanda, sister Karen, two daughters Elizabeth and Marci, six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was a well loved band director throughout many Texas and Oklahoma schools. He loved God, his family, friends, students, and colleagues.

His homegoing celebration was held Monday, January 21 at First Baptist Church Sanctuary in Amarillo, Texas, at 10:00 am. Graveside services followed at Dryden Cemetery in Hollis, Oklahoma.
