Johnie Arnold Underwood Jr. (Butch), 64, of Andrews passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020 in Andrews.

Johnie or Butch as he was known by family and close friends, was born on April 20, 1956 in Seminole, Texas to Johnie Arnold Underwood, Sr. and Nehla Underwood. He retired after 20 years as an engineer at Contel Telephone. Butch enjoyed spending time in Ruidoso, NM., and going to the ranch in Robert Lee, Texas. He was particularly good at math and loved drinking Coca-Cola. Butch had many hobbies, such as cooking, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family. Butch was preceded in death by his mother, Nehla Underwood.

Butch is survived by his father, Johnie A. Underwood, Sr. of Andrews, Sister, Cindy Taylor and her children Brian and wife Candace Rea, Ragan and husband Josh Cobarrubia, Sister, Kathy Underwood and spouse Ramona Taylor, 2 nieces Mystik and Alexis. 2 Daughters Trisha Underwood, and Tonya Forehand. 1 Son, Michael Underwood and wife Ivonne. Grand Daughters Madison and Kara Nehlana, Grandsons Stephen and Logan.
