Jose Bueno, 70, of Andrews, Texas passed away Thursday, October 13, 2022 in Andrews, Texas.
Family and friends gathered to celebrate his life at 10:00 AM Monday, October 17, 2022 at La Nueva Jerusalem Church in Andrews, Texas with Pastor Isai Garcia Officiating. Interment followed at the Andrews North Cemetery. Visitation was held on Saturday and Sunday from 1-8 PM at McNett Funeral Home Chapel. A praying service was held on Sunday at 7pm at McNett Funeral Home Chapel. Pallbearers, Noel Bueno, Osael Bueno, Rene Bueno, Ivan Bueno, Enrique Valenzuela, Heriberto Bueno, Aaron Vasquez, and Adam Vasquez. Arrangements are under the care of McNett Funeral Home.
Jose Mario was born in San Vicente, Mexico on January 15, 1952 to Jose Leon Bueno Salinas and Margarita Fuentes. On June 26th 1981 he married Maria Elena Rios and they spent 41 years together. In 1994 they had their daughter, Osmaray, his pride and joy. Mario loved to cook for his family and friends and was known to make the best street tacos in West Texas. He was happiest when he was working, whether it was out in the oilfield or in his backyard. He was the family handyman and his work can be seen in almost every family members household. He enjoyed traveling with his family, even when he disagreed about the destination. Above all, Mario loved his family; his brothers and sisters, his nieces and nephews, his wife, his daughter, and his beloved Corgi, Sophie, and his favorite cat, Sunni. He will be dearly missed.
Jose is survived by his wife: Maria Bueno, of Andrews, Texas daughter, Ozzie Bueno of Andrews,Texas,brothers, Oscar Bueno and wife Alejandra of Eagle Pass, Texas, Baudelio Bueno and wife Maria of Eagle Pass, Texas, and Herminio Bueno and wife Juany of Andrews, Texas, sisters, Olga Bueno of Piedras Negras, Mexico, and Zulema Bueno of Andrews, Texas, numerous nieces and nephews, beloved Corgi, Sophie, and favorite cat, Sunni.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Jose and Margarita Bueno, brothers, Jose Angel Bueno, Leonardo Bueno, and Cesar Bueno, sister, Graciela Bueno, sister-inlaw, Maria Elva Lopez.
