Juan Pedro Lopez
Juan Pedro Lopez, 42, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2020 surrounded by his loving family in Andrews, Texas.
Juan was born on March 21, 1978 in Andrews Texas, the son of Mr. Gabriel Lopez and Mrs. Maria Garcia-Lopez. He graduated from Andrews High School and was a parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. A proud lifelong resident of Andrews, Texas. Juan was the owner of The Repair Center. He combined his love of automobiles into a successful business, while helping his community. Juan was known for his kind heart and selflessness, often repairing customer’s cars at no cost if they were facing a financial hardship. When Juan wasn’t busy repairing cars, his talents included racing them, barbecuing with family and friends, traveling to his beloved Mexico and South Padre Island, enjoying an evening ride on his ATV, and dancing under the stars listening to his favorite music with his loving wife, Georgina. Juan married his “Amor De Mi Vida,” the love of his life, Georgina Raquel Amezcua-Lopez, on January 14, 2020, spending 10 years together. Their love story is full of wonderful memories and is a true testament that indeed, love triumphs above all. Juan is survived by his wife, Gerorgina Amezcua Lopez, of Del Rio, Texas, children, John Lopez, Alex Lopez, Julisa Lopez, and Alex Amezcua. His parents, Gabriel Lopez and Maria Garcia Lopez, brothers, Gabriel Lopez and wife Maria, David Lopez and wife, Nereida, as well as 5 nieces and 2 nephews. Juan’s happy smile and loving soul will be truly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held Thursday, September 3rd from 9 AM to 9 PM and Friday, September 4th from 9 AM to 9 PM with a Rosary recital service at 7 PM at McNett Funeral Home Chapel in Andrews, Texas. Juan’s life will be celebrated on Saturday, September 5th, 2020, 10 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Ogbonna, Pastor officiating. Interment will follow at the Andrews North Cemetery.
