Katrina Kay Carter Phillips

Katrina Kay Carter Phillips, 62, of Lubbock, Texas passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 16, 2020 at her home. Katrina was born on December 27, 1957 in Andrews, Texas to T.T. Carter and Grace Carter.

Katrina was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband Billy Phillips, son David Ross Gainer (Allie), step daughter Robin (Gabe) Garcia, 2 step sons Jason Phillips and Jeremy Phillips, all of Lubbock, Texas, 7 grandchildren, sisters Elizabeth Ann (Jack) Williams of Liberty City, Texas, Barbara Lou Battles of Andrews, Texas, brothers Guy Thomas (Brenda) Carter of Kilgore, Texas, and Clyde Cobra (Pam) Carter of Andrews, Texas, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She worked as a professional home and office cleaner with longtime friend, Sherrie Todd, until she retired.

Katrina had a heart of gold, putting others before herself. She touched many lives with her generosity and passion for life. She enjoyed driving her Volkswagon beetle, aliens and spending time with family.

Family and friends will be invited to attend a memorial service to be announced at a later date. Due to the COVID-19 virus, it will be after it is safe to do so.
