Luis Felipe Trevino, 69, of Andrews passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 in Andrews.

The family gathered to celebrate his life at 10:00 AM Friday, April 3, 2020 at the Andrews North Cemetery with Pastor Allen Strambler, Sr. officiating. Luis was born on August 8, 1950 in San Diego, Texas to Timateao and Dora Cuellar Trevino. He married Margarita Longoria on June 17, 1973 in Andrews. Luis loved his morning walks. He enjoyed finding and collecting toys and trinkets and driving his gang truck around town and sitting outside on his front porch looking at all the different type of vehicles pass by. He cherished the time he was able to spend with family and friends who meant so much to him. Luis had a favorite phrase he always said when talking to friends and family, “Si Dios Quiere”, “God willing”. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Rosa Torres, brothers, Oscar Trevino, Timothy Trevino, Jr., Rene Trevino, Ruben Trevino and Emetario Trevino.

Luis is survived by his wife, Margarita of 46 years, 6 daughters, Annabelle York of Andrews, Yolanda Hernandez of Hobbs, New Mexico, AnnaMarie Otero of Andrews, Loretta Westman of Andrews, Louisa Anna Trevino of Andrews, Angela Mares of Hobbs, New Mexico, 1 son, Noel Trevino of Corpus Christi, Texas, 20 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren, siblings, Eddie Trevino of San Antonio, Texas, George Trevino of Andrews, Texas, Jose Trevino of Andrews, Texas, Carlos Trevino of Andrews, Texas, Rebecca Trevino of Andrews, Texas.
