Marcalene Phillips, 87, of Andrews Texas, passed from this life Wednesday, April 26, 2023, in Andrews, Texas.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at 2:00PM, Monday, May 1, 2023, at The McNett Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Josh Morris officiating, burial will follow at the Andrews North Cemetery. A visitation will be held 5:00OPM-8:00PM, Sunday, April 30, 2023, at McNett Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the personal care of Mc-Nett Funeral Home.

Marcie was born October 8, 1935, in Eddy County New Mexico to Cecil C. Standard and Laura “Russell” Standard. She married Donald Wayne Phillips Sr., July 23, 1953, and they spent 67 amazing years together until his passing in May of 2021. Marcie’s family was always her #1 priority. She loved the outdoors, whether she was fishing or camping or working in her garden you would always find her outside. Marcie enjoyed canning vegetables and could make the best blackberry jelly around. She also had an act for pickling, she could pickle just about anything, but her pickled beets were the best. Marcie enjoyed going on vacations with her husband Don, their favorite place to go was Laughlin Nevada. She was a wonderful mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, she will be dearly missed by many.

Marcie is survived by her children: Don Phillips Jr. and wife Neva of Breckenridge, TX; Ricky Phillips and wife Sharon of Andrews, TX; and Cindy Folk of Andrews, TX; sister: Annette Alexander of Tow, TX; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 12 great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Donald W. Phillips Sr.; parents: Cecil and Laura Standard; granddaughter: Amber Baker; 2 brothers; and 5 sisters.
