Martin Gonzales

Martin Gonzales, 69, of Andrews, Texas passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, in Midland, Texas.

Family and friends gathered to celebrate his life at 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Andrews, Texas with Father Timothy Hayter officiating. Internment followed in the Andrews North Cemetery in Andrews.

Martin Gonzales was born on June 10, 1952, in Stanton, Texas to Eutimio Gonzales and Maria T. Gonzales. Martin has positively impacted the community with many blessings for about 40 years, along with his wife Maria Dulces Nombres Gonzales, and gifted with life 4 children, his only son Adrian Gonzales, and daughters Becky Rodriguez, Adalinda Gonzales, and Karina Lujan, all in Andrews, Texas.

It is hard to find such a loving and strong man today. Most reaching out say he was like a father to them. Thank God for such a loving father who poured himself out for God, and family, and everyone else. Martin founded Martin’s Inc. Services, and he and his wife were honored as longtime outstanding citizens with the Andrews Pioneer Award in 2018. He has left big shoes to fill. Lord help us be so faithful, strong, and loving.

Martin’s brothers are Jose Luis Gonzales, Damacio Gonzales, Hector Gonzales, Ismael Gonzales, and Alfredo Gonzales. His sisters are Maria Nieves Sanchez, Maria Elena Carrasco, Rosa Gonzales, Yolanda Martinez, and Teresa Gonzales.

Grandchildren are Isaiah Gonzales Bueno, Israel Gonzales Moran, Adan Moran, Isabelle Moran, Olivia Moran, Julian Rodriguez, Alexa Rodriguez, Francisco Rodriguez, Evalynn Lujan, Desiraeh Lujan, Jeremiah Lujan, Noah Lujan, Andrea Gonzales, Cristian Gonzales, Sienna Gonzales, Bella Gonzales, Andres Gonzales, Adonai Gonzales, Jayden Gonzales, Aria Gonzales.

He is preceded in death by mother, Maria T. Gonzales, father, Eutimio Gonzales, and sisters Jovita Pando, and Juana Rangel.
