Nada June Thacker

Nada June Thacker, 76 of Andrews, Texas passed away on, Friday, January 14, 2022, in Odessa, Texas.

Family and friends gathered to celebrate her life at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 22, 2022, at the McNett Funeral Home Chapel in Andrews, Texas. Visitation was held on Friday, January 21, 2022, from 5-9 PM, at the McNett Funeral Home Chapel.

Nada was born on March 19, 1945, in Vallejo, California to Edgar Walker and Florence “Wagner” Walker. She was an extremely supportive and nonjudgmental person, she loved everyone. Nada had a passion for painting and doing crafts. She loved to go shopping and loved to be around people. Nada’s favorite thing to do was play with her grandchildren, they where the light in her eye. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her son, Richard Neel of Andrews, Texas, brother, Don Walker of Gardendale, Texas, sister, Sue Hardy and husband Dick of Gardendale, Texas, grandchildren, Nikki Neel, James Thompson, and Christina Copper, great-grandchildren, Sophia Del Hierro, Efrain Del Hierro, Bruce Thompson, Fayth Thompson, Buddy Copper, and Brody Cooper.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Florence Walker, brother, Johnny Wayne Walker, sisters, Lavada Welch, and Jody Brown, son, Anthony Dewayne Neel, and grandsons, Bruce Thompson, and Francisco Del Hierro.
