Natalie Nicole Ellis
Natalie Nicole Ellis, a vibrant and loving spirit, passed away on March 22, 2024, in Andrews, TX, at the age of 28. Born on September 16, 1995, in Bryan, TX, Natalie was a beacon of joy and recognized by her smile.
Natalie was the cherished daughter of Leslie and Beth Boone of Andrews, TX. She was a doting mother to her three beautiful children, Karsen, Kinsley, and Kambri Ellis, who were her entire world. Her maternal grandmother, Sue Edwards of Bryan, TX, and her paternal grandmother, Nancy MacTavish and husband Ian of Abilene, TX, will fondly remember her bright smile and boundless energy. Natalie was a loving sister to Colby Boone and his wife Tiffany of College Station, TX, and Jeremy Boone of Dallas, TX. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Charlie Edwards, and paternal grandfather, Leslie A. Boone.
Natalie was a social creature and never knew a stranger when she was little. Not only did she know all the children in her classes (and grade), she knew all the children in Jeremy’s classes by name. Her schooling began at Crockett Elementary in Bryan, TX, went through Waller, TX for junior high and into high school, and landed at Andrews High School where she graduated in 2014. During these years she was active in several sports including little league softball, track and field, and basketball. She was the perfect illustration of small but mighty on the basketball court. Normally playing guard, she wasn’t bashful about mixing it up with the taller girls under the basket. She wouldn’t back down from anyone.
Natalie’s academic journey culminated in an Associate’s degree, which served as a foundation for her diverse careers. She was a true jack of all trades, with a professional background that spanned from being a prison guard to a customer service operator and even to a selfproclaimed cosmetologist. She always loved putting designs and trying different hairstyles with her children. Her versatility and adaptability were hallmarks of her life.
Her children were the center of her universe. Natalie’s favorite moments were spent watching movies with them, engaging in online games, and exploring new and exciting places. Always on the go, she made sure that every day with her children was an adventure filled with laughter and learning. Natalie loved to capture the moment, and her radiant presence was always camera-ready.
As we say goodbye to Natalie Nicole Ellis, we celebrate the life she lived so fully and the love she shared so freely. Her spirit, now free, will forever be remembered as a guiding light in the lives of her beloved children and all who loved her. May she rest in peace, knowing that her legacy will live on in the hearts of many.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at 2:00PM, Friday, March 29, 2024, at the Andrews Church of Christ with Mark Brewer officiating. Arrangements are under the personal care of Mc-Nett Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers donations in Natalie’s name may be made to the Medical Expenses of her daughter Kambri Ellis which will be accepted at the Andrews Church of Christ.
