Otilia Otero

Otilia Otero, passed away on December 19, 2022, in Andrews, Texas.

Friends and family will gather to celebrate her life with a mass at 10:00AM, Thursday, December 22, 2022, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Father Joseph Ogbonna officiating. Interment will follow at the Andrews North Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Felipe Otero, Ray Otero, Angel Otero, Tomas Otero, Raul Otero, Felix Otero, Rafael Otero and Humberto Salazar. Viewing and visitation will be from 2:00PM7:00PM on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 with a Rosary Service from 7:00PM-9:00PM at McNett Funeral Home in Andrews, Texas.

Otilia was born on January 5, 1952, in Midland, Texas to Daniel Sanchez and Frances Losolla. She married Luis B. Otero in 1968 in Miami, Florida. Otilia loved to travel with her husband to visit family. Her favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys. Some of her favorite things to do were going to the Casino, watching her telenovelas, and going to breakfast on the weekend with all her kids. She will be missed by many.

Otilia was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Ricky Sanchez.

She is survived by her husband Luis Otero of Andrews, Texas; Her sons Tomas Otero and wife Cindy of Odessa, Texas; Raul Otero and wife Anna Maria of Andrews, Texas; Rafael Otero of Andrews, Texas and Felix Otero and wife Teresa of Odessa, Texas; Her daughter Norma Salazar and husband Humberto of Andrews, Texas; Her brother Daniel Sanchez of Dallas, Texas; Her sisters Gloria Martinez of Andrews, Texas and Tommie Garcia and husband Max of Rosenburg, Texas; 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren and 3 more on the way.
