Remi Grace Vargas

Remi Grace Vargas, infant daughter of Joe Anthony Vargas and Lexi Karleigh Lopez Vargas, passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, December 10, 2018 in Lubbock.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at 10:00 AM Friday, December 14, 2018 at La Nueva Jerusalem Church, 2535 NW Mustang Drive, in Andrews. Interment will follow in the Andrews North Baby-land Cemetery. Rosary services will be recited at 7:00 PM Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Mc-Nett Funeral Home Chapel in Andrews. Remi Grace was born on September 18, 2018 in Seminole and was 2 months and 22 days old. During this short time, she changed our lives for the better. She was our wild child with crazy hair and her eyes shined like diamonds. She had a smile and laughter that would light up a room. She was our great cuddling partner, our dancing partner, and her brother’s princess.

Remi Grace is survived by her parents, Anthony and Lexi Vargas of Andrews; 1 brother, Ryan Rowdy Vargas of Andrews; grandparents, Joe and Donade Lopez of Andrews, Zac and Nora Miller of Andrews, Jose Luis Vargas, Jr. of Hillsboro; great grandparents, Carl and Peggie Ritcherson of Andrews, Maria Lopez of Andrews, Gloria Lujan of Odessa, Jesse and Elia Ramirez of Hillsboro, and Jose Luis and Leslie Vargas, Sr. of Andrews; 4 aunts, Magi Lopez of Andrews, Jasmine Lynn Vargas, Lily Vargas, and Aybrie Vargas, all of Hillsboro.

Remi Grace was preceded in death by her grandparents, Guadalupe “Popo” Lopez, Jose “Chamalias” Lujan, and cousin, Levi Rowdy Johnson.
