Shane Shylo Peña

Shane Shylo Peña – Tarango, age 34, of Andrews, Texas passed away Sunday, May 14, 2023, in Ector County.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life at 2PM, Friday, May 19, 2023, at La Nueva Jerusalem Church in Andrews, Texas. A Prayer service will be held at 7PM-9PM, Thursday, May 18, 2023 also at La Nueva Jerusalem Church. Arrangements are under the personal care of McNett Funeral Home.

Shylo was born on December 18, 1988, in Andrews, Texas to Cindy Ann Peña and Richard Kervey Peña. Shylo was outgoing. He loved to play pool, was a tattoo artist, and he worked in the oil field. His smile would light up a room and he always gave a shoulder to lean on. He was the life of the party wherever he went. He loved his daughter Glory dearly and missed his son Ryu and sister Glory Dawn.

He was loved by many, and he will be missed by an abundance of family and friends. He was one of a kind.

Shylo is survived by his mother, Cindy Peña, and husband Israel Marquez of Andrews, Texas, Father, Richard Kervey Peña of Utah, and daughter, Glory Syleste Peña of St. James Minnesota. His grandparents, Jesse and Gloria Tarango of Andrews, Texas, “Mom” Gloria Lira of Andrews, Texas. Several aunts, and uncles: Kristie Saenz of Lubbock, Texas, Melissa Tarango and fiancé Daniel Cisneros of Andrews, Texas, Jesse and Iris Tarango of Andrews, Texas, Cristelia and Julian Lopez of The Woodlands, Texas, Alice and Daniel Carrera of Midland, Texas, Viola and Roman Lopez of Andrews, Texas, Ruben and Cori Peña of Andrews, Texas, Luis and Tammy Peña of Andrews, Texas, and Belma and Noe Muiz of Odessa, Texas. He has many cousins who will miss him so much.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Glory Dawn Tarango, his son, Ryu Sevastian Peña, and other extended family members.
