Terry Anderson

Terry Anderson, 62 of Sundown, TX, passed away on December 12, 2023 after a long arduous battle from cancer and other ailments.

Terry was born on September 11, 1961 to his proud parents, Marvin and Margaret Anderson in the small town of Paducah, TX.

Terry attended Andrew’s High School from 1978 to 1980. He worked in the oilfield for 43 years. 16 years as a supervisor at WLP and 5 years as a Area Manager for Westex Well Service LP. He retired in 2020 after a successful career.

He loved hanging out with friends and family playing dominoes. Terry also loved boating and fishing. He worked hard and played harder. His stubborn tenacity helped him beat cancer and his contagious laughter drew people to him.

Terry is proceeded in death by his father Marvin Anderson and grandchild Addison Anderson.

Terry is survived by his wife JoLaine Anderson of Sundown. His mother Margaret Anderson of Andrews, TX. Three siblings: brother, Alan and wife Amanda Anderson of Rule, TX. Sister, Tammy and husband Matt Mitchell of Midland, TX. Brother, Stewart Anderson of Snyder, TX. Children: Brandy and husband Randy Fondren of Fayetteville, AR. Sheena and husband Woodson McEwen of Big Spring, TX. Derrick Anderson of Fayetteville, AR. Cynthia and husband Luis Nieves of Elgin, TX. 3 step children: Logan Loughrey of Seymour, TX. Morgan Stewart of Greely, CO. Lauren Carrasco of Hart, TX.

Terry is also survived by 16 grandchildren , 1 great grandbaby and the many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends that will dearly miss him.

The services are as follows: Thursday, 12/21/23 from 5-8 for family viewing; Friday at 10:00 at Andrews Corgill Funeral home Chapel
