A lifelong caregiver, Treva dedicated over four decades of her life to nursing as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). Her compassionate nature and nurturing spirit brought comfort and healing to countless individuals under her care. Treva’s commitment to her profession was matched only by her devotion to her family, which was the cornerstone of her life.
Treva is survived by, and her adoring children: sons Terry Mobley and his wife Amanda of Copperas Cove, TX, Kevin Mobley and his wife Rebekah of Kempner, TX, and daughter Amy Lara and her husband Justin of Midland, TX. She was a proud and doting grandmother to Ray, Jacob, Hanah, Nathan, Kevin, Sarah, and Blakelyn. Her sister, Patty Orona, and her husband Sonny of Odessa, TX, nephew, Lil Al and wife Veronica, niece, Summer Dawn, and numerous great nephews and one great niece, and her boyfriend, Roger Searcy of Odessa, TX., also survive her. Treva was predeceased by her parents, and brothers Ronny Middleton and Danny Ray Middleton.
Treva’s zest for life was evident in her many passions. She was an avid shopper who delighted in the thrill of finding the perfect item. A lover of the Wahoo board game, she enjoyed the laughter and competition it brought to family gatherings. Her love of travel took her on many adventures, creating memories that her family will treasure forever.
An endearing memory shared by her loved ones was Treva’s love for dancing when she thought no one was watching. Her spirit was free, and her joy was infectious. Treva also harbored a profound love for animals, often placing their needs above her own. The stray cats in her neighborhood knew her as a friend and benefactor, a testament to her generous heart.
Among her many accomplishments, Treva took immense pride in obtaining her License to Carry a Handgun. Her determination shone through during her training, where, despite her petite stature requiring her to stand on a stool to qualify at the gun range, she succeeded with flying colors.
Treva’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and the enduring strength of family bonds. Her presence was a gift to all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed. We take comfort in knowing that Treva is now at peace, reunited with her beloved parents and brothers, in a place where she can dance to her heart’s content, unwatched and free.
