Cookie was born on April 10, 1949 in Odessa, Texas to William Benjamin Keith and Alene Maxine French Keith. She was raised in Andrews, graduated from Andrews High School in 1967, and has lived Andrews all her life. She attended secretarial school at Odessa College. She had worked as a dispatcher for Andrews Oil Patch Answering Service and had been a waitress and cook at Lone Star Restaurant and Andrews Steak House, but for many years at Buddy’s Drive In. She enjoyed flying Remote Controlled Airplanes in Seminole, cooking for her family, especially her dinner rolls, popcorn balls, quad cake, and her pies. She loved Elvis Presley, John Wayne, and Betty Boop. She collected anything her grandchildren would bring her from their school, and she loved being with her family. She will be remembered for being bubbly, full of life, happy, never met a stranger, very forgiving, and had been happy about working on her health this last year. She was a member of Second Baptist Church.
