Wesley Kelton Sutherland

Wesley “Buh-buhh” Kelton Sutherland, 37, of Walters passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2018.

Funeral service were 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at the Comanche Community Center in Walters with Pastor Kent Simpson. Burial was at Walters Cemetery under the direction of Comanche Nation Funeral Home.

Wesley was born March 19, 1981 in Andrews, Texas to Joseph and Lagatha (Mihecoby) Sutherland.

He grew up in and attended Andrews School. He moved to Walters in 2003.

Wesley enjoyed playing sports riding go carts with his kids. He was a good father that took good care of his kids. He loved drawing names, Indian art and pictures. He was a proud member of the Comanche Nation of Oklahoma.

He is survived by: spouse, April Kosechata-Sutherland, son Kelton Sutherland both of Walters, daughter, Chynna Lee of Odessa; two brothers and sister in law, Joseph and Jessica Sutherland II and Michael Sutherland of Andrews; aunts and uncles: Lawannah Saldana of Oklahoma City, OK, Rejina and Roger Stewart of Walters, OK, Delisa and Leroy Glasgow of Lawton, OK, Renee and Lance Parker of Andrews, TX, Kelly and Kathy Mihecoby of Midland, TX, Dean and Shirley Pahcheka of Cash, OK, Wesley Henry and Rhysa Mihecoby of Midland, TX, Donna and Mike Pearson of Andrews, TX, Marsha and Ken Cook of Gardendale, TX; nieces and nephews: Alee, Graeson, Hadlee of Andrews; many other cousins family and friends.

He is preceded in death by: his parents, grandparents: Imogene and Wesley Mihecoby, Jack and Lucille Sutherland.
