Neo Gene Calvert

Neo Gene Calvert, 18 years old of Andrews, passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, in Midland, Texas.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 27, 2018, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Ogbonna officiating. Interment will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery under the personal care of McNett Funeral Home. A Rosary service will be held at 7:00 PM Friday, October 26, 2018, at McNett Funeral Home Chapel. Neo was born on February 21, 2000, in Andrews, Texas to Gene Calvert and Bethany Doyal. Neo attended and graduated from Andrews High School in May 2018. He loved his family and friends. He was passionate about cars, motorcycles, and bodywork, and he was currently employed with Loop 250 Collision Center in Midland Texas.

Neo was preceded in death by his father Gene Calvert. He is survived by his mother, Bethany Doyal; step-parents, Saul and Yadira Lopez; sisters Zurella E. Calvert, Jasper C. Lopez, Maya S. Lopez all of Andrews; grandparents, Teodoro and Yolanda Lopez, Billy and Cathy Fisher and Orville Calvert III and Song Deter.
