Joy Lynn Awbrey-Wren

The celebration of Joy Lynn Awbrey-Wren’s life was held on Monday, October 22, 2018 at Andrews Corgill Funeral Home in Andrews, Texas. Pastor Renee Phillips of River of Hope Church will be officiating the funeral service.

Joy Lynn Awbrey-Wren passed away in her home on the afternoon of Wednesday, October 17th at the age of 69. Joy was born on January 31, 1949 in Coalinga, California to parents Garland and Iva Awbrey. Long time resident of Andrews, Joy enjoyed spending time with family, cooking, gardening, collecting and sharing recipes, and antique shopping.

Joy is survived by her husband George Wren of Andrews, brother Doug Awbrey of Comanche, sister Brenda Holly of Big Spring, Teresa Crumpley and her husband Delbert of Odessa, son Shawn Hall and his wife Sheena of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, younger son Roy Hall and his wife Erin of Andrews, and step children Stance Wren, Lila Bishop, Mark Wren, Malachi Wren, and Rachael Wren and close family friend, Kendra Rodriguez. Joy is also survived by her seven grandchildren: Leslie Hall, Jakob Hall, Shaylynn Hall, Jaylynn Callaway, Brennan Hall, Shawn Hall Jr. and Lynlee Hall as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
