Nancee Sparks Hanks, 65, of Andrews passed away on Monday, August 19, 2019 in Midland.

Nancee was born on May 28, 1954 in Andrews, Texas to Roy Sparks and Ila Rowena Cox Sparks. She was raised in Andrews and graduated from Andrews High School in 1972. She had worked as a bookkeeper for Superior Welding, Inc. for 37 years. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, arts and crafts, watching old classic movies like John Wayne, and was a Star Wars and Marvel fan. She loved going to Fredericksburg and Disneyland, and she wanted to visit there one more time. She loved spending time with her family and was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 siblings, Mickey Green and Patricia Reid.

Nancee is survived by her son, Roy Hanks and wife, Emily, of Andrews, brother, Roy M. Sparks and wife, Ginger of McKinney, 5 grandchildren, Russell Hanks, Christopher Hanks, Jonathan Hanks, Zack Leach, and Christian Leach, 3 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
