Christy Marquez, 48, of Andrews passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2019 in Andrews.

Friends and family will gather to celebrate her life at 2:00 PM Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Todd Turn-bow officiating. Interment will follow in the Andrews Old Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Wednesday at McNett Funeral Home. Christy was born in Andrews on October 30, 1970. She attended and graduated from Andrews High School in 1989. She had worked at K-Bob’s Restaurant, and Andrews Family Medicine Clinic and was a representative for Avon. Her passion in life was enjoying her kids and grandchildren, they were the center of her life. Christy was preceded in death by her mother Billie Jo Sinclair, and a brother Kelly Vaughn, grandparents, Grover Wilson Turnbow, and Imojean Helen Singleton.

Christy is survived by her husband, Ernest Marquez of Andrews, sons, Zach Holley and wife Erin of Andrews, Taren Fite and wife Reilly of Dallas, Texas, Ernest Rey Marquez and wife Rhonda of Andrews, daughter Blanca Ashley Smith and husband Mason of San Antonio, Texas, father, Ronnie Lemond and wife Brenda of Andrews, sisters, Cammie Mackey and Randy Lopez of Andrews, Shelly Clements and husband Keenan of Lamesa, Texas, Ronnie Lynne Thornton and husband Tim of Del Rio, Texas, brother, Quint Brown and wife RaShae, of Dalhart, Texas, eight grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
