Estela Delgado Sanchez, 68, of Andrews passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 in Odessa.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Jubilee for Jesus Ministries, 1702 West Broadway, in Andrews with Pastor Flor Uvalle, officiating. Interment will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery. Visitation will be 12 – 9 PM on Monday and 9 AM – 2 PM on Tuesday at the church with a Prayer Service to be held at 6:00 PM on Monday at the church. Estela was born on February 19, 1951 in Sanderson, Texas to Roberto G. Delgado and Petra Gonzales Delgado. She was raised and attended school in Andrews. She had lived in Andrews most of her life and in Smithville. She had been a bus driver for the Andrews and Smithville schools and a homemaker to her family. She loved to spend time with her family and friends, especially going out to eat. She played on her phone all the time and was funny, independent, and strong willed and minded. She loved her grandchildren, and they knew her as “Lita”. She was a member of Jubilee for Jesus Ministries, and she was preceded in death by her mother, Petra Gonzales Delgado, son, David Sanchez, Jr., and brother, Bobby Delgado.

Estela is survived by her father, Roberto G. Delgado of Andrews, 3 daughters, Stacey Lopez Garza of Andrews, Maribel Lopez Zamora and husband, Orlando, of Andrews, DeAnna Sanchez of Andrews, son, Josue Sanchez of Andrews, 4 siblings, Bertha Carruth and husband, Donnie, of Andrews, Lori Fulwider and husband, Gary, of Andrews, Raul Delgado of Andrews, and Johnny Delgado and wife, Terrell, of Andrews, and 9 grandchildren, Alyssa, Miranda, Lucio, Sylas, Syah, Aaliyah, Orlando, Ernie, and Landon.
